Bio

George Worth Carr, husband of Glenna Boughner Carr, son of Green Berry & Sarah Sallie Johnston Carr. Father to Mary Jane Carr Fulton & George Leroy Carr. George was born in Tazewell, Claiborne, Tenn. migrated to Whitt, Parker County, Texas in abt. 1897 not yet two years of age by covered wagon. George left home as a young boy to join the Army, he made a career with the Army serving in World War I and World War II. At one point he met and married a local young lady, the love of his life Miss. Glenna L. Boughner on Oct 17, 1925 in Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan, they both travel the world with the US Army until retirement when they settled in Lansing, Michigan, George only returned to Texas to visit his large family of 9 other brothers and sisters.
