Vesta Burton is the daughter of Green Berry and Sallie Johnston Carr. Twin sister of Janie Cloud Carr Cates W/O Dr. Harold R Burton. Employed by Castleberry ISD 1936 as teacher at Castleberry Elementary School With certificate of elementary teaching thru the State of Texas Attended North Texas State at Denton Texas 1925-1931 rec. Bachelors in Education Attended North Texas State at Denton Texas rec. Masters in Education on Aug 28, 1942 (Know as University of Texas at Denton presently) Became Principle of Castleberry Elementary School March 24, 1955 Retired from Castleberry ISD May 30, 1967
