Bio
Virginia Lee Pederson, a long time resident of the Oak Forest subdivision in Houston, after struggling with cancer since 2006, departed this earth on Feb. 1, 2009 into the arms of her Heavenly Father, surrounded by His angels, to be greeted by her departed husband, parents, brothers, and great-grandson. She was born in 1928 to Ernest E. and Pearl M. Danner in Mexia. This beloved mother is survived by her daughter, Linda Cull and husband Harry of Hallettsville; her son, William N. "Bill" Pederson Jr. and wife Mary of Houston; and her son, Carl A. Pederson of Austin. She was a devoted grandmother to eight grandchildren, Gina (Wes) Upshaw of Katy, Kari (Travis) Etzler of Hallettsville, Christopher (Lauren) Cull of Hallettsville, Holly (Mike) Kelley of Austin, William N. Pederson III of College Station, Ty A. Pederson of College Station, Audrey R. Pederson, and Bryce D. Pederson of Houston. She is also survived by her sister, Connie Killion of Midland, eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many devoted friends.
