Abilene Reporter September 6, 1999 Pearl Mallard McLean Abilene resident 1946-1990 Pearl Mallard McLean, 96, died Saturday at a Midland care center. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Elmwood Memorial Park with the Rev. David Cason officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy. 277 South. Mrs. McLean was born and attended school in Cameron. She moved to Abilene from Houston in 1946 and to Midland in 1990. She was a homemaker and a member of Elmwood Baptist Church. She married Clyde C. "Mac" McLean in 1945 in Houston; he preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Ernest Danner of Farmington, N.M.; two daughters, Virginia Lee Pederson of Houston and Connie Killion of Midland; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Midland, P.O. Box 2621, Midland 79702. The family will be at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.
