The Clarksville Times Wed. Dec. 21, 1988 Pg. 18 Mr. Hughie Sheppard, 86, Clarksville, died at Red River General Hospital December 12, 1988. He was born in Deport September 28, 1902. Funeral services were held December 14, 1988 at Jolley's Chapel with Rev. John Gondol officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Jolley's Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Clarence Garrison, Tim Garrison, Lee Garrison, Wayne Sheppard, Weldon Thomas, Randy Cooper and Harold Sheppard. Honorary pallbearers were the Methodist Men's Bible Class. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Vera Sheppard of Clarksville; one daughter, Mrs. Glenda Marcom of San Antonio; one sister, Mrs. Lula Mae Garrison of Annona; two brothers, Zeno Sheppard of Clarksville and Kenneth Sheppard of Clarksville. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
