Louise R. Shemek, 91, died Saturday, June 18, 2011. She was born May 4, 1920 in Duncan. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2708 S. 24th St., Omaha. Graveside services will be at 12:45 p.m. Friday at the St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Duncan. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the West Center Chapel. Vigil service will follow at 7 p.m. Memorials to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Stacia Shemek; brothers, Alois, Martin and Lawrence Shemek; sisters, Helen Gondringer and Leona Schreiner. She was survived by brothers, Albert Shemek, Eugene Shemek and wife Peg; sister, Christine Dolezal and husband Al; nieces and nephews. VIGIL SERVICE Thursday, 7pm, West Center Chapel.
