Leona Cecilia Schreiner, passed away, September 15, 2009 in Hastings, Nebraska. Leona was born June 26, 1923 in Osceola, Nebraska to Louis M. & Stacia (Laska) Shemek. Leona married Walter "Wallie" A. Schreiner, Sr., on July 18, 1946. Walter Schreiner passed away on October 12, 1992. She worked for the NAD and was also a housewife and mother. She attended and was a member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church. She was also a past member of the Altar Society. Leona was preceded in death by: parents, husband, "Wallie" Schreiner; brothers and sisters, Alois, Martin, Lawrence, and Helen. Survivors are: Sons & Daughters-in-law: Walter Schreiner, Jr. – Hastings, Nebraska - Bruce & Vickie Schreiner – Grand Island, Nebraska - Stephen & Sylvia Schreiner – Omaha, Nebraska - Daughter & Son-in-law: Sheila & Timothy Goldsbury – Tequesta, Florida.
