Mildred M.(Vanek) Kret went to be with the Lord on June 11, 2011 at the age of 87 years. Mildred was born in Sweethome, Texas on January 18, 1924 to Louis and Frances Vanek. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Edmund and Felix Vanek, granddaughter, Suzette Kret, and her loving and devoted husband Clifford who passed away on May 1, 2002. Visitation will be held at Dellcrest Funeral Home on Sunday, June 19, 2011 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Benedict's Catholic Church on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 9:15 A.M. with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
