Obit Summary: Daisy Ewer (Palmer) Hawker, a resident of Declo, Idaho, died at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 1953, at Rupert General Hospital, following a stroke. Daisy was born October 31, 1884, in Skull Valley, Utah. She married J. C. Hawker on September 26, 1900, in Salt Lake City, Utah. The couple later moved to Declo, Idaho, where they had resided since 1930. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 1953, at the LDS recreation hall in Declo, Idaho. Friends called at the Hawker residence from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Burial was in Salt Lake City, Utah, under the direction of Goodman Mortuary.
