June H. Koyle, 80, died December 18, 2004, in St. George, Utah. She was born December 10, 1924 in East Millcreek, Salt Lake City, UT , to Charles and Daisy Palmer Hawker. She was married to Wells F. Koyle on October 19, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was raised in Declo, Idaho. She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and a temple worker. She taught English for 17 years. She loved working with her hands tatting, tole painting, quilting, and playing her dulcimer. She served two LDS Welfare Missions and made and donated over 200 quilts for the needy. She taught her family activities such as kite flying, dutch oven cooking and sailing. She is survived by her husband Wells Freeman Koyle of Ivins, UT, her children; Ronald (Susan) Koyle of Cucamonga, CA, and DeVon (Ethel) Koyle of Orem, UT, grandchildren; Bruce (Kim) Koyle of Victorville, CA, Benjamin (Susan) Koyle of Beverly, MA, Julie (Matt) Beasinger of Union Grove, AL, Sarah (Casey) Shurtliff of St. George, UT, Jamie Lynn Koyle of Orem, UT, Michael (Kristi) Koyle of Vista, CA, Jenette (Larry) Campos of Murray, UT, Jodi Koyle of Orem, UT., eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2004, 11 a.m., at the Ivins LDS 7th Ward Chapel, 240 E. 1060 S., Ivins, UT. A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 21, from 6-8 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St. George Blvd, and Wednesday, December 22, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., prior to services at the chapel. Interment will in the Ivins City Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary 435-673-4221. Condolences may be sent through Metcalf's Web site at www.metcalfmortuary.com.
