Alexandria Daily Town Talk, 1 June 1980, Section A-3 DeRidder, - Bertha James of Rosepine died at 4:20 am Saturday in Beauregard Memorial Hospital. Survivors include two sons, Garsie James of Rosepine, Archie James of Leesville; two daughters, Ethel James of Leesville and Ann Barrington of Rosepine; three brothers, Wilbur Perkins of Alexandria and Boyce Perkins and Edgar Perkins both of Pitkin; three sisters, Dellia Mansell of New Orleans and Elizabeth Cloud and Audie Perkins both of Pitkin; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Services will be at 4pm today with the Rev. W.H. Owens officiating. Burial will be in Rosepine Cemetery.
