The Oakdale Journal Oakdale, Louisiana; 15 Aug 1935, Thu • Page 4 Crittendon Perkins, 62, died in a New Orleans sanitarium late Sunday afternoon, Aug. 11, following an operation. His body was returned to Oakdale Monday morning in Hargrove Bros. Funeral car and prepared for burial. Funeral services and burial were held at Occupy cemetery near here Monday afternoon, with Rev. Green officiating. Mr. Perkins, who resided in the Occupy community, but was well known in Oakdale, is survived by five sons, Wilbur Lee, Lonnie, Vernon, Boyce and Edgar and four daughters, Elizabeth Cloud, Audie Perkins, Cordelia Mansell and Bertha James.
