Herald Coaster, September 9, 2003: Funeral services for Otto A. Urbanek, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg with interment following in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. The Rev. Allan Anderson will officiate the services. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003 at the Davis-Greenlawn Chapel in Rosenberg. Otto was born March 24, 1927 in Rosenberg to Joe Urbanek and Carry Barcak Urbanek. He passed away Sept. 8, 2003 in Needville. He retired after 25 years with WKM. He is preceded in death by his son, Terry Urbanek; parents Joe and Carry Urbanek; brothers Albert and Frank Urbanek; and brother-in-law Jesse Heinecke. Otto is survived by sons Dale Urbanek and wife Nancy, of Needville; Glenn Urbanek and wife Linda, of Rosenberg; grandsons Kevin Urbanek and fiancee Diane Reyna; Phillip Urbanek; Travis Urbanek and wife Amy; Brady Urbanek; Terry Urbanek Jr.; and Jodie Urbanek; great-grandsons Quentin, Preston, and Cody Urbanek; step-great-grandchild Christopher Hagler. He is also survived by sisters Albina Roehe and husband Arthur, of Rosenberg; Helen Heinecke of Rosenberg; sisters-in-law Vallie Urbanek of Fairchilds; Mildred Urbanek of Needville; and other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Mike Roehe, Tony Roehe, Randy Heinecke, Mike Chynoweth, Ernest Brauner, Keith Urbanek, Albert Urbanek Jr., and Bryntin Urbanek. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Otto Urbanek to S.P.J.S.T. Rest Home No. 2, P.O. Box 347, Needville, TX 77461.
