Obituary Gonzales Inquirer Oct. 29, 1964 A. Kalinec Is Buried Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today in the St. James Catholic Church foster for Anton J. Kalinec, who died ata local hospital at 245 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Peter J. Roebrocks, pastor of the church, officiated at the services and also at the Rosary services held at Seydler's Funeral Home at 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial took place e in the St. James Catholic cemetery. Mr. Kalinec was born in Austria on February 21, 1891, the son of Joseph and Mary Repka Kalinec, natives of Austria. He had farmed in Gonzales county for many years. A life member of the Catholic Church, he was also a member of the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus. He was married on September 24, 1918 to Agnes Gatzke. Survivors include his wife and two sons, John R. Kalinec of Beaumont, and George J. Kalinec of Freer. Also surviving are five grandchildren. Pallbearers were John Kalinec Jr., Robert Garvel, Sam Garvel, Rudolph Rajnoch, Willie Marrou and Sdolph Brzozowski Sr. Contributor: Cindy S Munson (47210136)
