Obituary for HATTIE C. (VINKLAREK) MARBURGER Victoria Advocate, February 22, 2002 Cistern-- Hattie C. Marburger, 83, of Cistern, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002. She was born Nov. 22, 1918, in Cistern, to the late Thomas, Sr. and Annie Mares Vinklarek. She was a homemaker and member of Cistern Catholic Church. She was a former Vice-President and Treasurer of KJZT Lodge No. 20 of Cistern. Survivors: daughters, Janice Doehring of Brenham, Pauline Klekar of Houston, Shirley Ryza of Lexington, Delora Wagner of Moulton and Connie Holder of Austin; son, Gilbert T. Marburger of Cistern; sisters, Lexie Pavlicek of Moulton and Evelyn Hajdik of Smithville, brother, Thomas Vinklarek of Smithville; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, Gilbert W. Marburger; four brothers; and parents. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. tonight at Smith Chapel, Flatonia. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Cistern Catholic Church, the Rev. Charles Carolan officiating. Burial will be at Cistern Catholic Cemetery. Smith Funeral Home, Flatonia, 361-865-3311.
