Bio
Lexie Vinklarek Pavlicek of Moulton, Tx, passed away on July 16, 2019, at the age of 93. She was born in Cistern, Tx, to Annie (Mares) and Thomas Vinklarek. She married her beloved Elo Pavlicek on November 8, 1948. They were blessed with four children, Darlene Hill (Jeff)of San Marcos Tx, Melvin Pavlicek (Ann) of Katy Tx, Elaine Rister (Randy) of Houston Tx, and Sherri Conrad (Keith) of League City Tx. They had five grandchildren-Linsey (Brosch) Harris, Melanie (Pavlicek) Huf, Elizabeth Pavlicek, Blaine Rister, and Brad Rister-and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers: Michael Janecek, Donald Wagner, Blaine RIster, Brad Rister, Ralph Harris and Alan Huf. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Alter Society, Cistern KJZT, and VFW Womens Auxiliary. She was an avid gardener. For several years, she ran a daycare in her home and was affectionately known as “Pyche” and “Auntie.” She is preceded in death by her husband Elo, her parents, four brothers (Vencil, Louis, Henry, and Julius Vinklarek) and two sisters (Hattie Marburger and Evelyn Hajdik). She is survived by one brother (Thomas Vinklarek)of Smithville Tx, her children, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm Thursday July 18, 2019 at Smith Funeral Home Moulton. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am Friday July 19, 2019 followed by mass at 10:00 am from the St. Joseph Catholic Church Moulton with Father Gabriel Maison officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
