Bio

Walter Jackson Burk was born July 1899 in Bristol, Ellis, Texas. He was 4th of the six (known) children born to William Marion Burk (1870-1941) and Florence Fredonia Maxey/Wilson Burk (1868-1952). Siblings: William Arthur Burk (1892 - 1913) Artie Lee Burk (1893-1933), Etta Henrietta Burk (1896-1963), James Alex Burk (1902-1965) and Lillie Clifton Burk [Endler] (1907-1994). He also had one half-sister Della Fredonia Wilson [McCormick] (1888-1980). He died 10 September 1905 when he was only 6 years old.
