Harold Jackson Interment: Colfax Cemetery, Colfax, Iowa ========= OBITUARY: Unknown newspaper clipping Wood Killed In Accident Monday--Harley Wood, Sr. 48, of Colfax, was killed Monday afternoon while working on a road construction project 10 miles southeast of Albia. An employee of the Mott Construction Co. of Centerville, Wood was killed when a road machine upset on a slope and rolled over on him. Survivors are five sons, Gary, in the service, and Harley Raymond Jr., Richard, Bruce, and Jimmy, all at home. His wife preceded him in death eight months ago. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Wood, he was born on a farm near Reasnor and was educated in the Reasnor schools. He had resided in Jasper county most of his life.
