~ OBITUARY OF MRS. LAURA CLARK SINGER -- Funeral services for Mrs. Laura CLARK, 87, will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Singer Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Irvin Brown, and the Rev. Herbert Phillips and the Rev. S. W. Brack will officiating. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder. Mrs. CLARK died Wednesday at the Beauregard Memorial Baptist hospital. She was a member of the Singer Pentecostal Church. Survivors are four sons, Mitchell CLARK of Singer, Leo CLARK of DeQuincy, Lester CLARK and Ercel CLARK of DeRidder; four daughter, Mrs. Coland HAVENS of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Mrs. James H. EASON of Shreveport, Mrs. John HENAGAN of DeQuincy and Mrs. Wilbur ASHWORTH, DeRidder; one brother, Gus ASHWORTH of DeQuincy; 34 grandchildren; and 56 great-grandchildren.
