Bio
Mrs. Tillie Francis Green was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Cunningham. She was born March 21, 1872 at Dakota Bottom [Dakota county, Nebraska] and at the age of about 1 month moved with her parents to their homestead 12 miles southwest of Norfolk. She died Friday night in Norfolk. She married Charles Green on April 11, 1889. Survivors were 2 daughters, Mrs. Elmer {Pearl} Volk and Mrs. {Luella} Renner, 2 sons Elmer and William, 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, 2 sisters Mrs. Emma Tannehill and Mrs. Lottie Penhollow both of Norfolk. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 23, 1947 and 1 son Gerald of Lynwood, Tennessee in 1948, 1 grandson, 2 sisters, 1 brother. Six grandsons acted as pallbearers and they were Marvin Renner, Gerald Olson, Milton Riegle all of Norfolk; Robert Green of Tilden, Lorin Volk of Omaha, Carl Smalley of Hammond, Indiana.
