Hillsboro Reporter Thursday, October 17, 2002 LARRY MELTON, SR. Mr. Larry Wayne Melton, Sr., 41, of Clifton died Saturday, October 12, at his residence. He was born November 11, 1960 in Fort Worth and had been a resident of Bosque County since 1989. He was a self-employed truck driver. Survivors include: his father, James Ray Melton of Whitney; mother, Lena Mae Tice Melton of Clifton; five children, Danny Wayne Melton of Laguna Park, JoAnn Harlow of Fort Worth, Lisa Marie Davidson and Brandie Rene Melton, both of Florida, and Larry Wayne Melton, Jr. of Clifton; two brothers, John Melton of Clifton and James Massey of Flint, Michigan, two sisters, Virginia Gordon of Hico and Jo Bryant of Fort Worth; and six grandchildren. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, at Bethlehem Cemetery near Whitney with Rev. Don McCollum officiating.
