Lena Mae Melton Born in Fort Worth, Texas on May 26, 1926 Departed on Mar. 11, 2005 and resided in Hico, TX. Visitation: Friday Mar. 11, 2005 Graveside: Saturday Mar. 12, 2005 Bethlehem Cemetery Lena Mae Melton passed away on March 10, 2005 in a Waco hospital. She was the daughter of John Floyd and Minnie Gladys (Cryer) Tice. She married James Ray Melton in 1952 in Fort Worth. Lena worked many years for Williamson Dickie in Fort Worth. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceding her in death were two sons, Larry Melton, Jr. and John Melton. Survivors include her husband, James Ray Melton of Whitney; children, Virginia Gordon of Hico, Jo Bryant of Fort Worth and James Henry Massey; brother, Richard Tice of Crowley; sister, Ann Buster of Fort Worth;10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
