Bio

WALTER HONEA DERIDDER - Funeral services for Walter Honea. 63, will be at 2 p.m. today (July 18) in Hopewell Baptist Church. The Rev. T. C. Hogan will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Funeral Home. Mr. Honea died at 9 p.m. Thursday after a sudden illness. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ella Honea; four sons, Gail, Dewane, Marty and Randy Honea; three daughters, Debbie, Kathy and Angie Honea, all of DeRidder; four brothers. Colin and Tanner Honea, both of DeRidder, Willie Honea of Belle Chase and Ray Honea of Port Arthur; two sisters. Mrs. Clint Bailey and Mrs. Gilbert Bass, both of DeRidder and five grandchildren.
