Bio
Marty Randall Honea, 57, of DeRidder, passed from this life on Dec. 31, 2016 at Christus St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles. Marty was a very loving, caring and kind person. He was always willing to help anyone in need no matter the situation and would never say “no”. His grandchildren meant the world to him. Marty was a mechanic all his life, owner and operator of Marty’s Auto and A/C for years. He will be greatly missed and loved by his family and friends. Those left to cherish his memory are his three daughters and two sons-in-law all of DeRidder; his brother and sister-in-law of DeRidder; three sisters and one brother-in-law; seven grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Honea; his sister, Maxine Fitzgerald; and his brothers, DeWayne Honea and Gail Honea. Funeral service were held Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home. Burial followed at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder. Services were under the direction of Myers Colonial Funeral Home
