OBITUARY July 1972 Columbus - Michael L. Haun, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Haun, formerly of Spalding and Columbus, Nebr., passed away on July 31, 1972 at his law office in San Francisco where he practiced law until his death. He graduated from Creighton University in 1927 and then moved to San Francisco where he practiced law until his death. He was a member of the California and San Francisco Bar Association, S. S. Peter and Paul Benevolent Society and the German Federation. Mr. Haun was married to Elsie Woods from Kansas and she preceded him in death about four years ago. No children were born to this union. His half-sister, Frances Tryba of Duncan and many nieces and nephews of his other half-brothers and half-sisters survived him. Those attending the rosary on the evening of August 7 and the funeral August 8 at 9 a.m. at St. Boniface Church in San Francisco were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Vanderloop of Cedar Rapids, Nebr., Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Boyce of Denver, Colo., and Joe Kusek, Mrs. Helen Oseka and her daughter, Rita, all of Omaha. The mass and rosary were offered by the Franciscan Priests. Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery in San Francisco next to his wife, Elsie.
