Mr. Eddie Koppa, 50 years, residence 128 Frost St., died in a local hospital Friday, Nov. 24, 1961. Mr. Koppa was a member of Manor Baptist Church, member Harlandale Lodge No. 1213, AF&AM, member Scottish Rite Bodies, member Alzafar Shrine, member North Central Lions Club, member Siemering Lodge No. 32, Sons of Hermann, resident of San Antonio 22 years and was a building contractor. Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Lorena Koppa; daughters, Miss Sheralyn Koppa and Mrs. Twyla Baird, both of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Mrs. Tillye Bardowsky and Mrs. Mary Sulak, both of Waco, Texas and Mrs. Christine Schmidly, El Paso, Texas; brothers, Gus Koppa, Waco, Texas and Walter Koppa, Ft. Worth, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services 2:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, at Manor Baptist Church with Dr. John O. Barbee officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park under auspices of Harlandale Lodge No. 1213 AF&AM. Active pallbearers: Roy White, Bob Green, Arthur Matyear, Leon Williamson, Ed Stouffer and Ralph Buller. Honorary pallbearers: All members of Harlandale Lodge No. 1213, AF&AM, Scottish Rite Bodies and Alzafar Shrine. Arrangements by Roy Akers. San Antonio Express-News November 26, 1961
