John Koppa, 73, died Nov 2, 1950 in Waco TX. Services at St Mary’s Church of the Assumption with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery by Compton FH. Mr. Koppa was born in Austin TX and moved to Waco TX in 1929. He was employed and retired from the ginning business in West TX and Penelope TX in 1931. He was sick for several months prior to his death. Survivors: widow of 1724 Morrow Waco TX; daughters, Mrs. Mary Sulak of Waco TX, Mrs. Tillie Bordovsky of Waco TX, and Mrs. Christine Schmidly of El Paso TX; sons, Walter J. Koppa of Ft Worth TX, Gus Koppa of Waco TX and Edward Koppa of San Antonio TX; sister, Mrs. Slacik of Placidio TX; and 10 grandchildren.
