Whitney Messenger Friday May 17, 1963 Mrs. J.L. Stansberry and W.A. Stansberry left Monday with Odell Stansberry of Houston to be at the bedside of Gene Stansberry of Andrews, who was seriously injured in an accident on Friday. He is in Andrews Hospital. Hillsboro Reptorter Thursday, June 26, 1975 LAWRENCE STANSBERRY Mr. Lawrence Stansberry, 52, of Haltom City and formerly of Hill County, died Monday, June 23. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, at the Marshall and Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Whitney. Burial was at the Smith Bend Cemetery. Survivors include; his wife, Mrs. Thera Stansberry; his mother Mrs. Lavada Stansberry of Whitney; one daughter Mrs. Sheila Wheeler of Fort Worth; three sons, Joe Stansberry and Jamie Stansberry, both of Fort Worth and Rickie Stansberry of Abilene; three brothers William Stansberry of Meridan, Odell Stansberry of Houston and Gene Stansberry of Kilgore; and six grandchildren.
