Ralaine "Trudy" Phelps Cannell, age 67, passed away July 10, 2006 at home surround by her family. Born September 7, 1938 in Vernal, UT, to Heber LeRoy Phelps and Ruby Bell Allred Phelps. Married Edward J Bell, who preceded her in death. Married Thomas J Cannell October 1, 1960. Trudy was employed by Lyndy's for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her Thursday outings with the girls. Survived by her husband; daughter, Robyn (Ray) Erkkila; son-in-law, Scott Barnett; six grandchildren; Tracy (Scott), Jeremy, Brittany (Chris), Travis, Staci and Jamie; three great-grandchildren: Briana, Tayson and Amanda; sister, Margaret Phelps; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Terri Barnett; brother, Merlin Phelps, mother and father-in-law, Shorty and Grace Cannell. Special thanks to the Hospice of Utah, Debbie, Alan and Kelly. Graveside services will be Friday, July 14, 2006, 1:15 at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. Friends and Family may visit Thursday, 6-8 pm at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Rd and Friday at the Funeral home, 12:00 - 1:00 pm.
