Waco Tribune Herald Monday April 11,1977 Mrs. Lena Shelley WHITNEY (SPL) - Mrs. Lena Shelley, 58, of Route 2, Whitney, died Sunday morning at her home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Marshall and Marshall Chapel in Whitney. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Mrs. Shelley was the daughter of Miriam and John William Young. She lived in the Whitney area and in Bosque County most of her life. She married A.D. (Darrel) Shelley, September 17, 1943. She was a member of Van Delia Church of Christ in Lubbock. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Larry Andrew Shelley of Las Cruces, N.M., and Harold Adrian Shelley of Detroit, Mich.; two brothers, O.C. Young of San Diego, Calif., and Glenn A. Young of Muskogee, Okla., and three grandchildren.
