Aunt Tennie, as everyone loved to call her, had been very active in church and community life for many years - that everybody loved and admired her. She was kind and always ready to lend a helping hand when needed, and had a cheerful word and a merry smile for those whom she chanced to meet but for the past few months she had been in declining health, which finally wore her rugged constitution out and she went to be with her maker in a paradise of love. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist church at New Liberty. She was married to the late Rev. Bob Johnson, who was a Freewill Baptist preacher. To this union seven children were born, and all are still living. They are Fred Johnson of Dardanelle, J. N. Funeral services were held in the New Liberty Freewill Baptist church Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Tommy Breshears and Rev. W. F. McGee, both of Russellville officiating.
