Yoakum City Death Records 1910-1925 in the Yoakum, Library has a listing for Joe Friedel who died 10/31/1918 and buried in the Catholic cemetery. His parents were Anton Friedel and Zofia Koliba. (Note - Sophia's (Zofia) stepfather was George Koliba which is why she is listed here as Koliba. Her biological father was Jan Spacek). Thomas Wenzel found buriel records at St. Joseph's Church which prove that Joseph Friedel is buried in St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery in Yoakum. He and Bill Thiele did further research and believe that Joseph is buried in plot D-60-H.
