Bio

Eva Peters Grim July 16,1920-Jan 2,1992 Eva Grim, 71, of Ord died Jan. 2, at St. Francis Medical Center at Grand Island. Services will be at the Ord Memorial Chapel. The Rev. John Peterson will officiate. Burial will be in the Ogallala Cemetery. Mrs. Grim was born July 16, 1920, at Sargent to Frank and Emma (Edwards) Peters. She married Lowell Grim on Nov. 25, 1936, at Ord. They farmed in southern Iowa until 1957 when they moved to Golden, Colo., for five years. They then moved to Ogallala where they owned and operated a motel for about 14 years. They retired and moved to Ord in 1981. Mr. Grim died in 1985. Survivors include two sons, James Grim of Ord and Everett Grim of Garden Grove, Calif.; a daughter, Karen Kriss of Comstock; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Merle Peters of Torrington, Wyo.; and a sister, Viola Morgan of Torrington, Wyo. She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Kathy Brothers; two brothers and one sister. Grand Island (Nebraska) Daily Independent Saturday, 4 January 1992
