Bio

Rosenberg Herald, November 14, 1957: Funeral services for Mike Eder of Wallis were held Friday from the Knesek Funeral Home, with services following at the Guardian Angel's Catholic Church, Wallis, the Rev. A.W. Nesvadba and Rev. Frank Miller officiating. Interment was held in the Guardian Angel's Cemetery. Pallbearers were Adolph Svoboda, John Spoede Sr., Ed Blazek, Rudolph Polasek Sr., Richard Hranicky, and Joe Blazek. The deceased was born in New Waverly January 24, 1891 and reared there. On September 10, 1913, he married Catherine Haczynsky in Chappell Hill. He was engaged in farming. He was a member of Guardian Angel's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and K.J.T. Lodge No. 75. Mr. Eder passed away in the Sealy Hospital Wednesday. He was admitted to the Sealy Hospital with injuries received following an auto accident on October 26. Survivors are his wife and six sons, Edward, Victor, John, and Lidge, all of Wallis, August of Houston, and Marion of Fayetteville; and ten grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Knesek and Sons Funeral Home.
