Walter F. Stanley, 81, retired farmer and Boeing Military Airplanes employee, died Monday, March 13, 1989. Service 11 a.m. Wednesday, Douglass United Methodist Church. Survivors: wife, Phyllis; son, Wayne of Wichita; daughter, Sharon Williams of Independence, Mo.; seven grandchildren. Memorial has been established with Douglass United Methodist Church. Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home. (Wichita Eagle ~ 14 March 1989)
