+ Royal R. Cochran Royal R. Cochran, 82, of Mountain Home, passed away early Friday morning, Jan. 5, 1996, in a Boise hospital of natural causes. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, at Mountain View Cemetery, Mountain Home Royal was born at Maxwell, Neb., raised in Wyoming, and enlisted in the military at a young age. He was a veteran of World War II, and became the first enlisted man to retire at Mountain Home Air Force Base. Royal spent his remaining years in Mountain Home. Royal is survived by his two children, Steven Cochran of Portland, Ore., and Patricia L. Potts of Columbia, Tenn.; two sisters, Virginia Anderson of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Dona Anderson of Torrington, Wyo.; and two grandchildren, David Higgins in Florida and Lynnette Higgins in Tennessee, He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and his beloved spouse, Mary.
