Fort Bend Herald, February 20, 2011: Graveside services for Bertha "Betty" Emily Nichols, 90, of Houston, will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 21, 2011 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time, Monday, Feb. 21, 2011 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Betty was born June 16, 1920 in Sealy to Joseph T. Jasek and Antonia F. Vancik Jasek. Betty passed away Feb. 17, 2011 in Houston. Betty is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert Nichols and her parents, Joseph and Antonia Jasek. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Patton and husband, Rogers; son, Harold M. Browning; grandchildren, Chris Patton, Paige Patton, Dorinda Casavecchia and Phillip Browning; seven great grandchildren; sister, Mildred Graham; along with other relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank the Forum at Memorial Woods for the loving care given to Betty the last six years. Service arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B. F.
