Fort Bend Herald, July 22, 2007: Funeral services for Martha V. Martin, 82, of Rosenberg, will be held at 9:30 A.M. Monday, July 23, 2007, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg, with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Deacon Jim Bonura will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 P.M. Sunday, July 22, 2007, in the Stateroom of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Martha was born July 16, 1925 in Sealy to Joe and Antonia Jasek. She was well known in the community as a hard working, honest person that would always put others first in time of need; Martha touched everyone with her heart and was an inspiration to anyone that knew her. We know that she is now in heaven and always will be in our heart. She passed away July 19, 2007 at her residence in Rosenberg. Martha is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Antonia Jasek; and siblings, Freddie, Milton, Elenora, Gladys, and Albina. She is survived by her husband, Jesse B. Martin, of Rosenberg; sons, Michael R. Martin of Rosenberg, Patrick T. Martin of Rosenberg, David B. Martin of Rosenberg; grandson, Brian J. Martin of Rosenberg; sisters, Betty Nichols of Richmond, Mildred Grahm of Rosenberg; brother, Jerry Jasek of Richmond; along with numerous other family and friends. Memorial donations may be made in Martha’s name to Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1416 George St., Rosenberg, Texas 77471.
