Father: Eliott Stevenson Mother: Eliza Ann Borden Lawrence County IL Death index states that Etta Belle Stevenson died 29 Jun 1903 in Bond Township, age 16 Y 11 M, which would make her born about 28 Jul 1886. Entries before and after her death in the index for 1903 indicate that to be correct year, rather than what appears on the tombstone, which is hard to read. Find a Grave contributor # 48206002 The stone shows birth date of Jul.28,1887 and death date of Jun.28,1904. This must be an error made by the stone carver. Since she shares a monument with a brother and sister, who died in 1905 it is unlikely the date was added prior to that year, which might account for the mistake.
