Mother: Susan Sechrest Married: 21 Jan 1875 Knox County, Indiana Palestine Review IL 25 Oct 1907 Pg 1 ---------------------- "Mrs. Eliott Stevenson Eliza Borden was born in McLean Co. Ill in 1856 and departed this life Oct 17 1907 at her home in Birds. She was married to Elliott Stevenson in the year 1875. To this union were born seven children, five of whom preceded her. The husband and two sons, Herschel and Riley still survive. She had been a member of the U B church for 18 years. Her funeral was held at Otterbine Chapel last Friday. Rev Haycock preaching the sermon, and the interment took place in the cemetery near by. BIRD's COR" ---------------------
