I have researched this famiy for years. If you are related I would love to hear from you. Big thanks to Janis for the great photo of Jody submitted here, and Jane Eubanks for the cemetery marker photo. Jody Ell was a twin to sister Nancy Bell (Starr) Whitehead, I wonder if they were identical twins or fraternal twins? The daughters of Nancy M. Oney and Joe Starr. Jody's other sisters were Kate (Starr) Davis, and Amanda Dell (Starr) Jones. Jody married Herbert E. Whyte 22 Jan 1903 Harleton, Harrison county, Texas at home of father, Joe Starr. Jody died c1908, with one daughter named Irene born but died early. Jody had several other children. I found a Herbert E. Whyte with wife Maude in census. This is the same Herbert Whyte married to Jody Starr 1903, and Maude is the #2 wife after death of Jody Starr Whyte. Herbert Whyte died 1960 and buried Noonday Cemetery, Hallsville, Harrison County, Texas.
