Bio
Katherine "Katie" Davis died several months after her husband, "Jim". He passed away 30 March 1926 at the home of his oldest son James Edgar Davis. Kate had gone to Jefferson to be with their daughter having her second baby. Katie Caroline Starr's Mother Nancy M.(Oney)Starr listed her four daughters in the administration papers of her deceased husband, J. A. Starr, was the oldest of the four. Born in 1881, the next two were twins - Nancy Bell, and Jody Ell born 1883 (she married Herbert White). The last sister born was Amanda Dell Starr, married Sidney Jones. Many many thanks to Ann Brannon for locating obituaries for both Katherine and James Davis. I have searched for years and today was my lucky day. Thanks Ann!!
