Athens Daily Review, Thurs., Mar. 9, 1989 - Services for Gus Taylor Dingler, 93, LaRue, are scheduled for 2 pm Fri., at Foster & Brown Funeral Home with burial in LaRue Cem. Mr. Dingler died Weds. at his residence after a brief illness. He was born Sept. 26, 1895 in (binding) TX & was a retired rancher in (binding). He was a Methodist & lived in Henderson Co. all of his life. He served on the LaPoynor (LaRue?) School Board & operated the LaRue Drug Store 20 yrs. In the 1940's, he operated a tomato shed & shipped tomatoes all over the US. Survivors: wife, Ora Dingler-LaRue; dau. & s/l: Marjorie & Johnnie Herrington - Palestine; 3 gch: Alan Herrington - Paoli, PA, Ann Herrington-Palestine & Bob Herrington - Palestine; 5 g-gch & 2 nephews.
