Houston Chronicle, December 6, 2001: Lillie Marie Fabian, a longtime resident of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away on December 4, 2001. She was 88 years young. She was born in Hallettsville, Texas on August 31, 1913. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Fabian; and baby daughter, Geraldine; sisters, Agnes Netardus, Julia Urbish, Adele Hermes, Justine Satsky; and brother, Frank Netardus; parents, Fred and Julia Netardus; stepmother, Annie Netardus. She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Urbish of Hallettsville, Texas; brother, Joe Netardus of Yoakum, Texas, and wife, Beatrice; sister in law, Mildred Netardus of Sugar Land, Texas. She is loved by numerous nieces and nephews. She was a loving mother to her twin daughters, Julie Andrews of Sugar Land, Texas and husband, Robert Andrews, Cathy Mewis of Sugar Land and husband, Doug Mewis; grandchildren, Robert James Andrews and wife, Kelly, of Pearland, Texas, Tamara Mewis of New York, fiance, Steven Dvorak, Bradley J. Mewis of Houston, and girlfriend, Rachel Plenge; great-grandchildren, Cline and Madison Andrews of Pearland, Texas; Robert Andrew's children, Gary Andrews and wife, Jan, of Richmond, Texas and their children, Brett and Alyssa, Pam Zapalac and husband, Don, of Sugar Land, Texas and their children Kacy & Chad; good friends, Rosie and Bill Janssen and Lucille Ligotino of Sugar Land, Texas, and Mary Patina of Rosenberg, Texas, who took such special and loving care of mother. Also, her daughters, Melissa and Rebecca. She was a devoted Christian, and her special ability to say "Novenas" for everyone's special needs made her our courageous angel on earth! "Mom, keep saying them for us, and always remember how much we love you, and you will be in our hearts forever! May you and dad rest in peace." Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2001, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Sugar Land. On Friday, December 7, 2001, visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Sugar Land, and interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
