The Victoria Advocate, January 11, 2008: Joseph "Joe" Netardus, age 81, died Jan. 9, 2008. He was born on Feb. 1, 1926, in Hallettsville, to Fred and Julie Pesek Netardus. He was a photographer, past Grand Knight of KC Council 1582, member of Yoakum Association 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, KJT and KJZT, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church or St. Joseph Catholic School.
