McKinney (TX) Newspaper, Monday, Nov 17, 1986: Funeral services for Jewel F. Ballard, 86 of McKinney, who died Saturday at Wysong Medical Center were held at 2 p.m. today at Turrentine- Jackson- Morrow Chapel who is in charge of the arrangements. Rev. Cleo Evans will officiate and burial will be at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Ballard was a member of the Waddill Street Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Garland Terrell of McKinney ; grandson, Ron Terrell of Austin and one sister, Iva Farley of McKinney. Ballard was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters. Francis Lovelady and Millard J. Terrell married Sept 27 1918 in Collin County, Texas. Millard J. Terrell died from typhoid fever.
