Bio

OBITUARY Tom PENDERGRAFT, 60, long-time resident of Canadian, died on June 22, 1960 after an illness of several months. Funeral series were held at the First Methodist Church. Mr. PENDERGRAFT is survived by his wife, Florence, of Canadian; a daughter, Nila June, and two sons, Billy and Jackie all of Amarillo; and two sisters, Mrs. Mabel LEWIS of Harrington, Kansas, and Mrs. Marie HOOVER of Canadian. Thomas LaFate PENDERGRAFT was born July 13, 1899, at Mangum, Oklahoma. Pallbearers at the funeral rites were R. E. GEORGE, Frank COLE, Abe MADDOX, Nick MORGAN, Jack PARSONS and Bill MATTHEWS.
