Bio

Headstone has birth year as 1871, but family bible records say 1872 ∼ Mrs. Annie May Aultman Pendergraft passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mabel Lewis, in Herington, Kans., last Friday. Mrs. Pendergraft was born at Yazoo City, Miss., on March 20, 1871. She is survived by four children: Mrs. Dan Hoover, and T. L. of Canadian; Louie, of Goodrich; and Mrs. Lewis, of Herington. Funeral services were held at the local Methodist church Monday afternoon, with the Rev. W. E. Fisher in charge. Obituary published in The Hemphill County News (Canadian, Texas) 28 July 1944
