Funeral services for Oran H Walter, 80, of 1107 E Main St, who died at his home Thursday were conducted at 1:30 PM Saturday at the Hollenbeck Funeral Chapel. Mr. Rodney Love, presiding minister of the Olean, NY Jehovah's Witnesses, officiated. Pallbearers were Manley Butts, Arthur Hayes, Otis Combs, Otto Chandler, Harold Hanson and Louis Knier. Burial was in the Willow Dale Cemetery. Employees of the Bradford Motor Works called at the chapel in a body Friday evening. A resident of Bradford for the past 30 years, Oran Harold Walter, 80 of 11-7 East Main St died at 8:30 PM Thursday at his home. He had been in ill health for the past 10 years. Born at Newmansville, PA July 21, 1881, he was the son of the late Mr and Mrs Daniel Walter. He retired from the Bradford Motor Works in 1953 because of ill health. Before then he had been an employe of the A D Van Scoy Oil Co. On June 28, 1939, he was married to the former Iva Velle (Bell) in Bradford....(following is information mentioned above.)
