Greeley Daily Tribune August 5, 1955 (Friday) Retired Teacher Dies Here Friday Benjamin B. Jackson, 76, of 1017 Sixth street died Friday night at Weld County General hospital. He had been a resident of Greeley since 1903. Jackson was a retired teamster. He was born Oct. 7, 1878 near Mount Ayr, Iowa. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lula Jackson; two brothers and a sister, Frank Jackson of Florida and Fred Jackson of California; a sister, Mrs. Ella Phelps of Wheatland, Wyo.; and a nephew, Lester Jackson of Greeley. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon from Macys drawing room, with interment at Linn Grove.
